About the Start / The Global Scholars program at Byram Hills High School has empowered students to go out and make a difference in something they are passionate about. This is one passion.

Caroline is a compassionate student at Byram Hills High School in New York and decided to tackle UN SDG 7 and deal with the lack of energy access throughout the world. Focusing on Uganda, she has educated herself on the ins and outs of solar technology. She has developed a contact in Uganda and is committed to working with him to provide home solar units to families in need.
